Natural Burial Society

The Natural Burial Society is an end of life resource center and social laboratory for practical and spiritual innovation in the realm of death. Formed through the collective efforts of licensed funeral directors, a mortuary science/thanatology educator,  interfaith ministers, life celebrants, and a course design video editor, we work within a funeral establishment to bring media and technology into the folds of death literacy campaigns, funeral rites, and grief education. Our mission is to address the most current issues and challenges in the deathcare industry, many of which are not addressed through traditional mortuary science educational channels.

*Jane Roy and William Heath are licensed funeral directors at D. Williams Mortuary, for more information visit our page on natural burial offerings: https://www.dwilliamsmortuaryservices.com/natural-burial
